Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful four-night stay at this hotel in Kakadu National Park. The room was spacious and really well serviced with complimentary water every day, which was a lifesaver in the heat. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed the fantastic pool and walking tracks around the lagoon. However, the dining options at the bar had limited opening hours, and the accommodation could use a bit of renovation. Overall, I found it to be great value for money given the quality of our experience.
I had a surprisingly pleasant stay here despite some mixed reviews I had read. The hotel is spread out over a large area, which made it feel less crowded and more private. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant served excellent food at great prices. However, it is not the most luxurious place you'll find, and if you're less mobile, I would recommend requesting a room closer to reception as it can be a trek. Overall, it's a fantastic budget option with some great features.
I had a really enjoyable stay at this resort. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help us with a fridge issue, which was much appreciated. The food and drinks at the bar and bistro were fantastic, especially after long days exploring the area. However, the rooms could use some updating, and there's no internet connection, which may be a downside for some travelers.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel nestled in the heart of Kakadu National Park. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a bit dated, and the staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. The location is great for immersing in nature, but it's quite far from major attractions, which made our daily driving a bit lengthy. Dining options on site were decent but pricey, particularly for families. Overall, it's a nice experience, but be prepared for the extra costs and distances involved.
I had a lovely stay surrounded by beautiful gardens and wildlife. The rooms were spacious, although a bit dated and dark. Dining was convenient with decent food options, but it could get expensive, especially for families. The staff were incredibly helpful and made my experience more enjoyable.
Our stay was disappointing due to a damp and unclean room along with an uninviting atmosphere. The location was nice enough, but the facilities and service left a lot to be desired. We were particularly frustrated with the insect issue at night and the maintenance problems that made for an uncomfortable experience overall.
Staying at Aurora Kakadu was an interesting experience with its unique ambiance amidst the outback. The rooms had a vintage touch and were generally clean, but a few quirks—like a frog in the bathroom—added to its rustic charm. The dining options were limited but decent enough given the location. While we enjoyed the natural setting and air conditioning, the absence of consistent Wi-Fi was a little frustrating.
I had a wonderful experience at Aurora Kakadu. The hotel offered great value for money, especially considering the peak season rates. The rooms were cozy and newly refurbished, surrounded by lovely scenery with wildlife all around. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing, lacking variety and freshness, which was a letdown. Overall, I would recommend it for its cozy stay and good pricing, but be prepared for a basic breakfast.
I had a pleasant stay overall at this hotel, which is nestled in incredible natural beauty and offers a peaceful retreat. The rooms, while clean and tidy, definitely show their age and could use some updating. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. However, the location is quite far from some key attractions in Kakadu, requiring a bit of travel. Dining was good, with a satisfying buffet option that I appreciated.
